But as soon as I stepped inside, I was transported to a 1970s recording studio vibe. Its unfinished, raw feeling comes from exposed sheetrock walls, soundproofing on the ceiling, and gold curtains sectioning the small space.
This bar attracts the hippest crowd, with serious cocktail enthusiasts donning jeans, Stan Smiths, and scruffy beards or bold red lips and casually-tousled hair.
Le Syndicat is not just about looks, though; it has made its name internationally with its exclusive focus on French spirits and liqueurs. In fact, the full name is “Le Syndicat: Organisation de Défense des Spiritueux Français.”

Original Mixology: The bar’s recognition as one of the World’s Best is well-deserved, with mixologists like co-owner Sullivan Doh leading the way. His impressive resume includes stints at Experimental Cocktail Club and Sherry Butt, both of which are renowned in the industry.
Casual and Engaging Atmosphere: Le Syndicat manages to create a welcoming and underground vibe, where you’ll find creatives and techies mingling. You might even bump into some familiar faces! This makes it a perfect spot for hanging out with coworkers, friends, or that Tinder date who you want to impress.
💡 Just a heads up—there’s no food available at Le Syndicat, so make sure you eat something beforehand or plan for a meal after your visit.

2. Prescription Cocktail Club

Prescription Cocktail Club is a trendy cocktail bar in Paris located in the 6th arrondissement.
As a long-time resident of the city, I had heard a great deal about this iconic spot on the Left Bank, famous for its unique drinks and lively atmosphere. And when I finally checked it out for myself, I was definitely not disappointed.
Walking into the cocktail club felt like stepping into another world.
The atmosphere was celestial and I couldn’t help but get completely immersed in the beautifully upholstered walls, draped fabric, and delicate trimmings. With small sofas hidden in every corner, this spot truly felt like a cozy getaway perfect for a night out with friends.
The drinks menu, designed by Maxime Potfer, deserves a special shoutout for its variety of classic cocktails and unique creations inspired by the spirit of the otherworldly.
During my visit, I tried a truly delicious concoction called the “Naked Gaga”, made with Gin Plymouth, Cocci Americano, Aperol, lemon syrup, verjus Bourgoin, and bitters”. I highly recommend you try this one when you go!
And don’t ever hesitate to ask the knowledgeable bartenders for their recommendations!
One of the things that I found particularly appealing about Prescription Cocktail Club was the arrangement of the bar as the main stage, with Zoltar hidden behind the DJ booth telling fortunes.
This added a touch of mystique and novelty that I haven’t experienced in other Parisian cocktail bars.

The polished mahogany bar, which has been touched by hundreds of elbows across the Atlantic, perfectly captures the essence of that era.
Over the years, Harry’s New York Bar has continued to be a hub of creativity – particularly when it comes to their cocktail menu.
They’re credited with inventing classic drinks like the Bloody Mary, Side Car, Blue Lagoon, and White Lady. When you visit, you’ll understand why the bar’s motto is “traditionally inventive.” The bartenders there truly are masters of their craft, skillfully blending the old with the new.
One of my favorite features of this iconic bar is its intimate basement piano bar, where you can enjoy live music while sipping on a perfectly crafted cocktail. Although the space is cozy and quite small, it adds to the overall charm and unique atmosphere of the place.
💡 Note: Visitors should also be aware that there’s a smoking room available for those who want to indulge in a cigar or cigarette while enjoying their drinks. It’s separate from the main bar area, so non-smokers can still appreciate the ambiance without the scent of smoke lingering in the air.

Since 2020, they’ve implemented a Farm to Glass model, working closely with French producers to source their ingredients. Their menu is ingeniously inspired by art, flavor perception, anthropology, and social science.
This unique blend has garnered them a spot on the World’s 50 Best Bars list nine times since their opening in 2012.
If you’re planning a visit, remember that Little Red Door is open every day from 17h to 02h. While reservations are recommended, walk-ins are most certainly welcomed.

Upon entering Candelaria, I was greeted by a small space filled with bright barstools contrasting against the all-white backdrop. It’s a taqueria-style joint, but don’t be fooled, something extraordinary awaits you behind that door at the back.
Now, who could resist those delicious tacos filled with shredded pork and black beans? At Candelaria, you can have a snack and quench that thirst for agave-based spirits all in one go!
Heading through the secret door, I discovered a chic cocktail bar, with friendly staff ready to serve up some amazing drinks. In fact, they have an extensive selection of mezcal, tequila, sotol, raicilla, and other premium spirits to choose from.
Prepare yourself to plunge into a wonderland of some of the most creative and refined cocktails, such as the ‘La Guepe Verte’ – a perfectly balanced mixture of agave nectar, jalapeño, and cucumber.
The ambiance in Candelaria is spot on for a cozy evening with friends, or even a romantic date. The candlelit space is small, exuding that low-key, shabby-chic vibe, while local DJs set the mood with their tunes.
No pretentiousness here, just relaxed staff making you feel right at home.
So, whenever you find yourself in Paris, you absolutely must experience Candelaria firsthand. It’s one of the best cocktail bars in Paris and one of my top choices when I’m craving some Mexican food!
6. Dirty Dick

Dirty Dick offers 10 exuberant drinks that dominate its menu, bursting with fresh flavors, and all pre-mixes are made in-house. Let me tell you about my favorites:

I was impressed by how the bartenders seamlessly concocted a cocktail that perfectly matched my flavor profile. They were definitely well-trained professionals who took great care in giving customers exactly what they desired.

The Experimental Cocktail Club is located in the heart of Paris on rue Saint-Sauveur. As a leader in the experimental group of bars, it has set a high standard for other bars in Paris.
Inside, you will find a dimly lit space that’s packed most nights with Parisians and tourists alike. They all share one thing in common: a love for finely crafted cocktails.
The ambiance is enhanced by classic rock ‘n’ roll tunes from artists like Springsteen and The Stones.
What really sets this place apart from other coolest bars in Paris is its stunning array of unique cocktails – The menu often features 12 intriguing options, with ingredients like elderberry liquor and whole eggs being incorporated into their creative concoctions.
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with some of the ingredients – the bartenders and servers are always happy to help you navigate the menu and make recommendations based on your taste preferences.
During one of my visits, I fell in love with the Le Petit Pommeau, a delightful mix of champagne, two types of bitters, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

As for food, there isn’t a formal menu, but jars of salted almonds are readily available to snack on while enjoying your drinks.
